we became good friends when studying law in Trinity . We had lost contact over recent years but Donall was very kind to me and my boyfriend at the time when we had little money and at times we stayed with him .at that time he was beginning his journey with TM and he went on to be a teacher and Barrister. I was very sorry to learn belatedly that he had passed . My condolences to his wife and children and wider family. He was one of the kindest people I have known . Rest in peace

I knew Donall for many years through my work in the Courts. We also shared countless bus journeys on the 126 to and from the Four Courts. He was a gentleman and an absolute pleasure to know. I extend my sincere sympathy to all his family at this time.

My Sympathies to Shirley, Rekha and Seoid on the death of Dónall. I met him a few times down through the years and more recently we had formed a little group of former classmates and greatly enjoyed his company. He was both a great listener and contributor to conversations and stories. His wit and knowledge were formidable. Likewise, nonsense, he could kill with one acerbic comment.! Lovely.

Though I didn't see Donall much in recent years, I have very fond memories of him, especially his gentleness, kindness and great charm and wit.
