My thoughts and prayers remain with Evelyn, Roisín, Daithí and the extended members of the Halleran and Warde families following Donie’s passing.
Donie was one of life’s gentlemen, with a gentle nature and benevolent smile, he always had a kind word for everyone.
Donie continues to be remembered and missed by the school community who were fortunate to have known him.
May he rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of Donie’s passing. He was always such a friendly and cheerful presence — someone who’d always stop for a hello. I’ll never forget how he let the 6th class girls win the teachers v students football match — a true reflection of the kind and thoughtful teacher he was, always putting the children’s happiness first. My sincere condolences to his family and all who knew him.
