Much love and heart felt sympathy to all Donies surviving family. It's especially difficult to accept the loss of someone such as Donie who had such a beautiful tender soul and a genuine all loving integrity. Like all those who new him I will miss his passion for music, his humanity, his pure non judgemental acceptance of all, his great sense of humour, his fairness, his appetite for all subjects of conversation, his intellect, his knowledge, his creativity, his love and kindness, his deep time travelled soul. It is a rareity to meet someone who had all these qualities in abundance and our friend Donie was that rarest of rare people. slán a fhágáil anois mo chara, féach leat síos an bóthar.

Very sorry to hear of the passing of Donie, had many lovely chats with him , what an absolute gentleman. May the Lord comfort all who mourn his passing at this sad time.

So very sorry to hear of Donie’s passing Sincere condolences to all of you his family. It was a privilege to have known Donie - such a beautiful, kind,caring, loving man.
