To Gordon and Geoff,
My sincere condolence on the passing of Doreen. When Doreen lived in Killester she was a close friend in her youth of my eldest sister June (Vincent) Roberts, Marjorie (Malcolm) Bond, and Marjorie Bond (don't recall her married name) we all lived in Clontarf. I brought June and Marjorie (whose husband Victor Bond was a Head teacher in Cork) to a party in Doreen and George's home when June and her husband Glyn were over from England. June passed away almost 2 years ago and the others prior to that. I also remember Doreen's late sisters. Thinking of you both with fond memories of my late sister's friends. Sincerely Helen (Vincent) O'Neill.
To Gordon, Jeff and all the family, so sad to learn of Doreen’s passing. I have wonderful memories of her at Friarsland Road, and before that at Foxfield. I spent much of my time there during my school days, she was always so welcoming, and a great cook. She was my second Mum and I will always remember her fondly. May she rest in peace. With love, Neil
Our thoughts are with Jeff and Jackie and the extended family at this time of sorrow.
