Dear John, Carol, Ken, Lorraine, and Tony
It is heartbreaking. Aunty Doreen was a kind and gentle soul. Indeed, she was a patient and warm-hearted mother to us: always feeding the McHugh children in between us running all over the place, when we used to visit.
When we invariably injured ourselves, she also always seemed to have a supply of biscuits and ice lollies on hand, which never ceased to amaze me then. So many memories. The funeral was really beautiful.
You are all in my thoughts at this difficult time.
