It is with great sadness I heard of Doreen’s passing, our Mums are so special & precious in our lives and when gone, it leaves a big void in our everyday lives. I remember with great fondness the playing in each others houses in the early years and the parties - Doreen was always busy handing out the jacobs biscuits😊😍 a beautiful funeral & lovely words from Ian x

I remember her so well at Badminton in Rathfarnham Parish days, as I grew up in the club with my mother Joy Young(deceased) who was a badminton friend of Doreen’s too. “In our Lords arms we now leave Doreen, gently sleeping”. We offer our sincere sympathy to all Doreen's family. She was a lovely lady and great fun to chat with. Doreen has been a faithful member of our Parish Wednesday Club, since it started. She was a skilled badminton player and has passed on her talents to her children and grandchildren. Her name is included on a silver perpetual trophy cup. Your late Dad, Dick, was a valuable member of the Leagues and Cups Committee. We are thinking of you all at this sad time for you.
