We are so sad to learn of the death of Doreen and offer our Deepest Sympathy to Tommy, Colm and the extended O'Brien and Stenson families. We first met Tommy and Doreen through Marriage Encounter some 48 years ago.
Doreen was a lovely, warm and kind person and she and Tommy were devoted to each other.May she Rest in Peace.

I am so sorry to hear of the death of Doreen. My deepest sympathies and warmest wishes to Tommy and all her clan.

Doreen and Tommy kindly facilitated a 12 week faith-based development group for teens back in the 1990s : this was a massive help and a wonderful experience for me, which I am so grateful for to this day. Doreen's kindness, calmness and inner resilience shone from day 1 : she personified 'Ireland of the 1000 welcomes' in a very genuine way.

It meant a lot for us when Doreen and Tommy attended our wedding in 2011.
