So sorry to hear of the sad passing of Doreen.A real lady who took me under her wing when I started my teaching career in Flowerfield N.S. in 1981. Many happy memories of Sunday lunches and days out with Doreen and Clem.Sincere sympathy to Brian and Niall and families. Sorry to miss her funeral as I'm out of the country at present. I am so sorry to read of Doreen's death. My condolence to Brian and Niall and the whole family on your mother's death. She was a lady who was ever ready to put on her coat and drive to Cortown school, at short notice, to sub for a sick teacher. Doreen always managed to pull some interesting activitiy, poem, story or piece of art out of her bag to keep the students busy. May you rest Doreen in eternal peace.
