I wish to add to the sentiments of those who loved Doris; family, friends, neighbours each person said that it was privilege to know her.
Doris, like all the Fegans that have passed on before her will be dearly missed at family gatherings and special occasions, where her absence will be deeply felt. I must note that Mam and Dad were especially dedicated to Doris and Nellie – Kavanaghs pub anyone? They put so much time into caring for them over many years. Regrettably, in the last few months this was tough on them and Doris.
After her beloved sister Nellie passed Doris showed us that even in the face of life's challenges, we can choose to embrace life with a smile and with a good heart. Some things weren’t meant to be for Doris but we know she lived a fully and happy life with her family, nieces and nephews, friends and neighbours.
My brother and sisters memories are full of visits from Doris and Nellie to our houses, at parties, Christmases and in fact any family occasion that was worth a brandy, a song and a laugh. Tales of family, neighbours and work colleagues getting "up to good" and "no good" were told, and the house would crackle with laughter. Thirty years ago, my wife Alison was introduced to the family, it turned out that Alison’s Dad Albert worked with Nellie and Doris in Cadbury’s – more great stories flooded out every time they met. I’m sure they are all in heaven now recanting the same stories over again.
Rest in peace Doris

Rest in peace Doris
Doris was one of the most special people I ever met.
My grandaunt, who enjoyed having a great time with people she loved.
She showered everyone she met with love happiness, and kindness. Any time spent with Doris filled those around her with immense pride, whatever the occasion.
Doris never had a bad word to say about anyone or anything and through her actions showed to all around her that kindness was, and always will be, the only way forward.
My memories of her are filled with fun, her love of singing and dancing surrounded by people, her passion for fun was contagious and something I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
She will be missed at our dinner table at Christmas, every family occasion and every visit, for her wit and amazing insight to life along with her love for her family and positive attitude towards everything, anything and everyone.
A woman of incredible determination, pride and grace.
Rest in Peace Doris, the Queen of East Wall who impacted all those around her in an incredibly positive way - all anyone could ever ask for x

My beautiful Auntie Doris, you were such a big part of my life and a kind and loving gentle soul. Always there for my Mum, your sister Sarah, through the years. You are at peace now with her and Auntie Nellie. I will think of you often and keep you in my heart. Your love knew no bounds for your family. Rest in peace. Even though I couldn’t be there for your final farewell it was lovely to be a part of it on video. From your loving Niece Sylvia, Steve and India in Australia xxx
My condolences to all of Doris family, I will remember you fondly Doris and pray that you are united with all of your loved ones who await your arrival, safe in the arms of Jesus,
Doris, What I remember of you most was your kindness. As a child I always felt that you were someone who was a gentle soul who talked to children and was great at engaging them. You will be greatly missed and your memory greatly treasured by us and many more. May you rest in peace.
