My sympathies to all Dora’s family and especially her daughters it wasn’t until recently that I was made aware of Dora’s passing as my journeys through Abbeyleix hadn’t been that frequent in recent times it brought great sadness to me as I used to have such fun with her when I got my coffee as she made an attempt to teach me my few words of Polish !!! Rest in peace Dora you will always be remembered 💃!!

My deepest sympathies to Dora’s daughter’s, her Mam and her brothers. I am very sad to her of her passing. I was in hospital with Dora last November, we had some great chats and late night talks on the ward in Tallaght hospital. Dora you were a ray of beautiful sunshine, may you rest in peace. X

I cannot imagine your heartbreak at losing such a beaming light in our world. Dora was such a caring, compassionate, warm & uplifting person. If everyone’s day could start with one of Dora’s beautiful, genuine smiles then every day would be a great one. Julia I don’t have the pleasure of knowing you but Suzanne you are everything your Mum was - warm & friendly with the great smile so you will carry on her legacy. I am so sorry I am away & cannot be with you to celebrate a great life this evening but I am with you all in spirit. I really loved meeting Dora, truly one of the best !

Była cudowną osobą, inteligentną i utalentowaną, niesamowicie miłą, troskliwą, pasjonującą się nauką i wiedziała, że ​​jej dwie córki są „utalentowane”, jak zawsze mówiła mi z delikatną dumą. Jej etyka pracy była niezrównana. Jest mi tylko przykro, że straciłam kontakt z wami wszystkimi w ostatnim czasie z powodu moich własnych problemów zdrowotnych. Dora was one of those truly special people who was a genuine light in the world. She will never be forgotten by those who knew her and her legacy will live on in remembering the way she treated everyone she met kindness amd dignity. I cried when I read Dora had passed away. She was such a special lady who's aura & smile had the ability to lift your spirits & brighten your day. A few years ago in MOC in Abbeyleix, Dora greeted me with her wonderful smile, looked at me & truly seen me. At the time I was wearing a chemo hat & my hair was slowly growing back. She looked at me, smiled her wonderful smile, asked me how I was & then told me I'd be ok. Her compassion & kindness melted my heart. To her Daughters, Mother, Brothers & wider circle of Family & Friends, I am so sorry for your profound loss.
Heaven has truly gained an Angel.

It was with great sadness that we heard of Dora's passing .We first got to know her from her time working in Costa Portlaoise . Our daughter Eimear worked alongside her there . Dora lit up the coffee shop with her beautiful smile and always had time for a chat and a laugh. We missed her greatly when she moved to Abbeyleix. She was a most caring kind person with endless charm and fun. Dora sadly was taken too soon from this world and our sincere consolences go to her two daughters and her family .
