With deepest sympathy,
Our heartfelt condolences go out to Alice, Christina, Conor, Toni, Johnny, and the entire Harlowe family on the loss of your dear Dorothea.
Though we never had the chance to meet Toni or Johnny, we feel deeply connected to your family through Dorothea.
She was a truly wonderful neighbor, and we were so fortunate to have known her. Her warmth, her kindness, and her deep love for her family were evident in every interaction we had. She spoke of you all with such depth and affection—her family was everything to her.
Dorothea extended her kindness to my own family, especially to my children, and we are incredibly grateful for the time we shared with her. In that time, she shared many beliefs and had her own personal strategies for life—ways of thinking and doing that were uniquely hers. Her directness was striking—always honest, always thoughtful—and she left a lasting impression on us.
We as a family will miss seeing the light in her house as we look over before going to bed. But we take comfort in knowing that she is now in the heavenly light of God, surrounded by peace and love.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
May Dorothea rest in peace, and may you find comfort in the beautiful memories of her love and the joy she brought to your lives.
With deepest sympathy,
Kenny McDonagh and family
