Very sorry to hear of Dor's passing. I stayed with her and Don when I first started college in Dublin many years ago. It was a warm, happy place to be. They were both very kind to me. Always warm and welcoming. Very sad for all her family. She was a lovely lady.

What a lovely.kind and witty person she was. We shared time with her through our friendship with Phil and Charlie.

All the members of Monkstown Lawn Tennis Club would like to express their deepest condolences to Dorothy's family and friends at this sad time. Dorothy was a loyal and valued member of the club for many years and even when she was no longer playing tennis, she continued to pop in for a coffee to catch up with all her friends. Her style, elegance, good humour and friendship made Dor a most popular member and she will be sadly missed by us all. May she rest in Peace.
Dor was always such fun as we came in and out of the house as teenagers. She was warm too. Listening to all the eulogies online is such a reminder of how amazing she was. Meg is right, her life will have ripple effects for many generations to come. Beautiful mass. My sincere condolences to Rob, Steve, Karen, and of course my lovely pal, Orlita. We had many happy years working with Dor in the Lochlann Quinn School of Business UCD Study Abroad Programme where Dor was the Manager of Culture for our visiting American Students.
Dor loved the students and would do anything to help them.
She had great generosity and a terrific sense of humour.
She will never be forgotten as a colleague and friend.

I was really sorry to hear of Dorothy's death. We had a regular 'Monday morning' game of tennis for many years in Monkstown LTC and lots of chat and fun as well.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of dear Dorothy’s passing. Played a few rounds with her over the years and always looked forward to chats over coffee, not to mention the odd glass of wine at our functions, always a smile and a laugh and loved her stories. She will be so sadly missed by the Fridays. RIP

Dorothy has been such a wonderful friend to my mum Colette for many many years since they first met through Monkstown LTC. They enjoyed their trips to France to see the Monaco Open and Dorothy always brought so much fun and vibrancy to everything and to every event. She was truly a wonderful person, with the most amazing attitude that naturally drew you to her. I loved to meet her and always enjoyed her company, and her wit and humour. She will be greatly missed by my mum, and her tennis crew.
