As the last living member of my branch of the Maher family and a first cousin of Dorothy's, I extend my sincere sympathy to all the members of her large family on their loss. We grew up in the Kilkenny of the 1950s and in our teen years, I sang at concerts and Dorothy danced. She was a champion Irish step dancer and always looked the part with her beautiful blonde hair and grace. May she rest in peace.
