A stalwart defender of all Greystones kiddies' rights to have their place on the stage, she choreographed those wonderful pantos with joy, enthusiasm and the most wonderful chaos for all of us involved. Her laugh, her smile brought a beacon of light to all lucky enough to meet her. Her legacy of unity, fun and laughter and her stoicism in the face of grief will never be forgotten. Dorothy will live forever brightly in all of our memories - she transformed every childhood Christmas with all those adventures in the worlds of Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, Cinderella, The Snow Goose and so many more. She both wrote and directed the Pantos so brilliantly along with the musical talents of our Dad, Des and with top performances from Binkie, Biddy, Myles, Leni and almost every teen and child in the village. How she managed it we'll never know ! There will truly never be the like of her again and it was a privilege to have known her all these years. She was a gift to Greystones. Heartfelt condolences to all the extended Robbie family.

I have very fond childhood memories of Dorothy and the Robbie family. She was such a warm and welcoming lady! Sincere condolences to Dave, Johnnie and Peter.

All of us had such fun taking part in Mrs Robbie’s pantos as young children in Greystones 50years ago. She made a part for everyone, no matter how shy! Such a lovely lady, she was a huge part of our formative years and we remember her very fondly. Sincere sympathy to all of the Robbie family

I taught with Dorothy in the Science Dept.in Alexandra college, she was always so supportive, kind and great fun. I spoke with her before Christmas and had panned to meet her in the new year. Sincere sympathy to her family.
