I'm so very sorry to hear of Dorothy's passing. She was such a kind and gentle lady. I remember her with such great fondness from her time in Caherdaniel and will always think of her at Christmas time.

While I could write a book on Dorothy, I can sum her up in a few words - a very beautiful person. I have known her for over sixty years. We soldiered well together both in Arklow and Kerry and always had great fun. Happy memories. Rest in peace pal - I will miss you so much.

Dorothy was such a lady of great character and good fun to be around Always remembered with fondness and a smile.

Its with great sadness we learned Dorothy had passed away and unfortunately we missed her funeral mass in Templerainey. Memories flood back of the happy times we spent together in Courtown in the early 1970's and when we visited Dorothy in Caherdaniel. Sincere condolence to all who mourn especially Jimmy and John Sadly I only learnt of her demise today We had not met since her time in Kerry until a pleasant unexpected encounter at an open day at Shelton Abbey We met again by chance at the cinema in Gorey for Maria Callas film Her 2cousins were with her ,one being Dorothy Glenthorne Joanne a relatively new friend of mine knew Dorothy from her time inKerry We exchanged ph nos to arrange a visit but sadly never achieved it Requiescat in pace Dorothy.

I was so sad to hear of the Lovely Dorothy's death .We lost touch when she moved to Kerry .We were great friends many years ago in Yann Goulets Art studio in Bray.We went to Yanns painting trips together to Roundstone and her beloved Kerry and had the best times .I also shared an Art Exhibition with her and Eileen Brennan in Kielys Donnybrook.
