Dorrie Rennick

I was so sorry to hear of Dorrie’s death and so soon after Mary’s. I taught with Dorrie in the Maths department in St. Vincent’s .She was a very dedicated teacher and a lovely person to work with.
May they both rest in peace.

Sincere sympathy to the Rennick family on your sisters death Rip. Miss Rennick was an absolute brilliant teacher . I was lucky to have had her teaching me maths for my five years in St Vincent’s. I loved her organised approach to the subject and looked forward to class each day. May she rest in peace.

Deepest sympathy to the family of Dorrie & Mary on their recent deaths, May their gentle souls rest in peace.I was at St Louis School in the late 1950s where Dorrie with her stellar results in the national computation of the Intermediate Exam caused us to get a half day.. unknown & rarest treat. Dorrie wore her success very lightly so am not surprised to read of her teaching prowess & accolades by collleagues & past pupils. Mary was in my class in St . Louis, , an equally gifted teacher too, as my eldest son can testify.
They were great friends all their lives though I never saw enough of them after school with careers, motherhood & duties intervening. Lovely ladies & they will be remembered for all their good living. Carmel
