We were deeply saddened to hear of Adrian’s passing and we shall remember him in our prayers. Heartfelt condolences to you and all the Murphy family, ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.

The Council of the Irish Society of Community and Public Health Medicine is very saddened to hear of the passing of Dr Adrian Murphy. Dr Murphy sat on the Council of the ISCPHM for several years. He is remembered by those on the Council who knew him as a gentle and lovely man. He had a kind presence, and he will be missed.
On behalf of the ISCPHM, I would like to express our sympathy and convey our condolences to his wife, Sheila, and all his family. We had a minute’s silence in his memory at our recent conference. May his soul rest in peace and may good memories of him gladden your hearts in the midst of your sorrows, Kathleen.

Our deepest condolences dear Sheila, on the loss of your beloved Adrian. You were always together, and the love and care you showed each other, especially during his illness, was truly beautiful. We also extend our deepest sympathies to Rachel and Clare on the passing of your wonderful dad, and to all the Murphy family.

Adrian was one in a million. He was kind to everyone, always ready with good advice, and he had time for everyone he met. He was funny, full of warmth, and his presence always made every occasion better. One of our fondest memory of Adrian was playing Trivial Pursuit with him on Christmas Day and other occasions. There seemed to be no question he could not answer. His depth of knowledge was truly remarkable. And over the years when any medical advice was needed, we could always ring Adrian. He was so generous with his time.

He will be deeply missed by so many for his kindness, humour, wisdom, and gentle spirit. May his soul now rest in the loving arms of Jesus. His life was truly well lived.

I am so sorry to learn of Adrian's death

We are very sad that Adrian has passed away.Best mate at college and beyond.Groomsman at our wedding.Loved his trips to Tullamore on his honda 50 and later in his yellow volkswagon. We had great fun and great memories. Our sympathies to Sheila, his girls and brothers.As we re out of the country we will view funeral from afar.
