She was a wonderful kind human being - so professional and such an empathetic and kind doctor. I learned so much from her during my Paediatric training in Drogheda.

Absolutely saddened to hear of the death of Dr Murphy What an amazing physician! I was very sad to hear of Anne's recent passing.She was a lovely neighbour of my parents in Bryanstown.Anne was always very friendly and chatty when we met over the years.My sincere condolences to her sister Margaret and her extended family.May Anne rest in peace.

Dr Murphy was on duty the day my son was born at 27 and a half weeks. She looked after him and diagnosed 2 holes in his heart which were thankfully repaired several months later. Now he is a strong healthy 23 year old. I wont ever forget her kind bedside manner, constant presence and the unassuming nature she showed towards us. Her passing is a loss to whole generations of patient families as well as her own. May she rest in peace.

Dr. Anne Murphy was the best pediatrician. I first met her in the 80s when my first born was sick and again in the 90s when my second was born. DR. Anne was so gentle and kind and not only to my children but also to me and my husband. I remember her so busy but going out of her way to make us a cup of tea. What a wonderful, compassionate lady she was. I often met her when we were out and about and she always stopped for a chat. I love that she remembered all of us. She was truly one of the best. I was so sad to hear Dr Murphy had passed away. She was a wonderful doctor and beautiful person.
Anne was so kind to us when our daughter Kate was born, and during her short life looked after her with gentleness and expert medical attention. Anne will be forever remembered.

I recall Dr Murphy spending nights on call in the unit guiding & supporting nursing & medical staff providing care to critically unwell infants. I am very sorry to hear of the passing of your aunt Dr. Murphy. When I was born, I suffered from a severe kidney disease and was readmitted to the hospital with sepsis at just 10 days old. Dr. Murphy played a crucial role in saving my life. She stayed with me day and night, even when she was supposed to go home. Thanks to her unwavering dedication and care, I was transferred to Crumlin Hospital the next day and received the treatment I needed.

My mother only recently shared this story with me, and I was deeply moved by Dr. Murphy’s kindness, compassion, and professionalism. I am truly sorry for your loss and the loss to your entire family. I wish I had the chance to thank her personally, especially after having the privilege of teaching and employing Cian and Cathal over the years.
