My deepest sympathy to Peggy and Billie, Patrick, Bernadette and June and Francis. I only found out about Anthony's passing a few days ago when dear Peggy phoned me. God rest Anthony and God bless all of you -his family. Peggy and I only came across each other about 3 years ago due to my work on our 'Deere' family tree. Although I've never met any of your branch of the 'Keogh' family my heart goes out to you all. My grandmother, Alice (Deere) Kett was a sister of Sarah (Deere) Keogh Peggy's grandmother. I wish I had met Anthony as he sounds like a very special person. God bless him.

A most honest and effective doctor, and by far the most influential supervisor I was graced with. Since working under his supervision, I have told many people how he changed my life, and I will continue to do so. I can only imagine the effects he has had on his patients.
In a landscape rife with illusion, Tony communicated truth. He was a profound inspiration to me.

On behalf of the Talking Horses Racing Syndicate, may I pass on our deepest condolences for the passing of Anthony and our thoughts are with you during these extremely sad days.

Tony, was known to us as EGS (El Gran Senor). He was a founding member of the Talking Horses Racing Syndicate and a regular contributor to our WhatsApp group and The Guardian’s Talking Horses comments page.

None of us ever met Tony in person, however he became a close racing friend through his regular comments and contributions. He will be remembered by us for his most individual view of the racing world, his wit and his devotion to Coolmore.

We will deeply miss El Gran Senor, a most engaging gentleman who lived up to his pseudonym.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Tony's untimely passing and wish to express my sincerest condolences to all of his family and friends.

I had the pleasure of being Tony's trainee in St Stephens Hospital in 2019 and we had kept in touch ever since. I learned an incredible amount from him, both about psychiatry and also just life in general.

His knowledge, quick wit, and sense of humour made for a very interesting placement and one that I will forever remember fondly.

Anthony was a true friend to Mike, a kind and generous godfather to Miles and loved by all our family - including our dog Pip. He was always entertaining and stimulating company and very funny (especially online), and without fail sent thoughtful birthday and Christmas cards. We always enjoyed our visits to him, June and Francis in Cork and their stays with us in Somerset and will miss him greatly.

Sorry we aren't able to attend the funeral in person. You are very much in our thoughts at this time.

He was dedicated in his role delivering excellent patient care with his team in North Cork.
