Very sorry to hear of Ben's death. I worked with him in the Department some years back. I know he was considered very knowledgeable but apart from that he was a nice man. Rest in Peace Ben.
Sincere condolences to Ben’s family.
Our family knew Ben and Cecily for many years. Many the conversation and laugh was shared when he collected his Irish Times. In more recent times we would see him at Mass. A gentleman and good conversationalist who will be missed.
Rest in peace Ben.

Sincere condolences to all of Ben’s family on his passing. May He Rest in Peace with his beloved Cecily. We befriended one another during our days in the Civil Service and maintained that contact throughout the years. A devout person who volunteered as a Reader at Masses in both Fairview Church and Beaumont Hospital. A gentleman, a lover of classical music and a friend to everyone he met. Ni bheidh a leitheid ann aris.
Sincere condolences to Bens family. I was fortunate to have met Ben recently having looked forward to his many Sunday Mass readings. Such a lovely man, quiet and unassuming but blessed with the most beautiful voice.
Rest in Peace.
