A wonderful man. About 52 years ago he helped me with a morphine shot when I dislocated my shoulder playing rugby. Bill was on the touchline and able to help me.

Condolences to Ann and all the family. Bill was a legend, a charismatic person who helped so many people throughout a long and illustrious career, both in his medical and political life. He had a great way with people and a smile for everyone. He "raised us up" as the song says. Heaven will be a brighter place with Bill present.
