Dr. Christopher Mascott

So sad to hear about the passing of Chris. We have wonderful memories of the many patients he helped and cared for at the Beacon. He always cared so much for each patient and gave so much time and support for their extended families. It was an honor to be on the radio surgery team with him. We had many laughs especially on French Fridays and discussions of keeping his office in order. Chris adored his family who we knew through him how much he loved each of you and am sure he is playing one of his many guitars looking out for you all in heaven.

Please accept my deepest condolences on the untimely death of Chris. In 2008, he cared for me after I was rushed to A&E at the Beacon Hospital, I will be forever grateful to him for saving my life. He was a brilliant physician and surgeon, always so kind and generous with his time, his passing is a profound loss. May he rest in peace.

Pat we are so sorry to read of your Dad's sad passing. He was one of our most consistent supporters during our time together at Mount Merrion FC when he came to watch you play - and he was always available for lifts to away matches. In May 2011,he cared for our dear mother Lily and got her safely through a very complex surgery following her very sudden and utterly devastating diagnosis. As a result of his great skills and care, we were granted some very precious extra time with our beloved mum before she went to her Heavenly home . We will forever be indebted to him and never will we forget his kindness to both our mother and our family. May he rest in peace.
