I am sorry to hear of the passing of Dr Colm Brady. I didn't know him very well as I only met him once but once was enough as he made a huge impression on me. He was such a lovely man and always came to the retired GPs meetings here in the Irish College of GPs.

May he rest in peace.
Dear Cathy,

Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your beloved Dad, Colm. He was a truly wonderful, kind and caring man not only as a GP but as an individual and was a dear friend of my own father, Jim Crotty. You were lucky to have him for so long and will miss him hugely. Finally he is reunited in Heaven with dear Jenny. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
Sincere sympathies to Colm's family and friends on his passing. Colm was a true gentleman and always interested in having a friendly chat, be it about his Camino tales, the countryside or classic cars, and always with a humorous twist! Colm always admired but sadly missed by his friends in the gym. Rest in Peace Colm.
My deepest condolences to Fergus, Zara, and the family on the passing of Colm. May he rest in peace.

Ar dheis De go raibh a hanam dilis
My deepest sympathy to all the Brady family. Colm and I valued our friendship in the Order of Malta.Having spent many hours working with him in Lourdes he always had a good yarn to share with me. He was the best of company and we often shared a table at OM dinners. He enjoyed the monthly book sales in Shankill village and the opportunity for a chat over a cup of tea. It is hard to believe that he has left us. He was determined to outlive his father who passed away at 101. I will miss him as a friend

There are some people who are special in life and Colm was one of those: his curious intelligence, his charismatic charm, his biting sense of humour, his love of country and his loyalty to family all marked him out as someone worth knowing.

He was always a delight to meet and always cheerful.I gather he was a good doctor and I know that he was deeply saddened when you lost Jenny. He loved his family, his home , he and I shared an interest in unusual motor cars. He did so much for the Order of Malta over the years. He shared his love of the history of the order with me. For a time Edwina and I lived opposite Jean and Arthur on Library Road and would have most of you then as you passed between houses. He reached a great age and now may he rest in peace. My deepest sympathies to all his family. Colm will be sorely missed. He was a wonderful raconteur who knew his wine, and so much more. He graced our dinners with his wit, humour and incisiveness, and left most of us helpless with laughter. He will always echo in our memories. May he rest in peace.

Dr Colm Bady, always the perfect counterpoint - in humour and wit - to our wild, vertically challenged clan, offering each and every one of us a life jacket when we needed it the most, always with a smile, and a well considered joke, just to remind us that nothing should ever be taken completely seriously. Thank you for the guidance, care and buckets of love.
