My husband, a college friend to Marcus was determined to see them when we were in Ireland years ago even though we were unable to contact them. Cornelia graciously welcomed us while Marcus was away. As if her hands were not full enough, having just moved with the 3 kids, she found space for us, shared her family with us and showed us the sights. When i expressed a desire to relearn how to knit, Cornelia took the time to teach me and supply me with yarn for our trip back to Boston.
Her doctorate may have been in mathematics but it might just as well been in kindness.
We will remember her with love.
