Dr Denis Corboy

Sincere condolences to Miriam and all the family on the sad passing of Denis. I never met Denis but i heard he was a special and gifted person in many ways, and was greatly loved by his many patients and friends. Will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers especially at this time. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

Denis was our GP and looked after our entire family for over three decades. We trusted him implicitly, and he made all our lives better. Sending love and gratitude to his family.

Heartfelt sympathy to Miriam and all the family on the loss of the lovely Dr Denis Corboy RIP. He was my GP for many years, he combined an empathetic manner with deep knowledge and analytical talent. I always remember his happiness when greeting a mother with a new baby, smiling down at the child after what I suspect had been a difficult pregnancy. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.

My husband and I were deeply saddened to hear of the death of Denis. He was my doctor for a number of years. Denis was so very empathic, warm and yet also immensely practical. He was able to intuitively know what you needed - a kind word, a quick prescription or words of advice. I'm only sorry that he did not get enough time to enjoy a long retirement. He will be so missed.

I was very sad to hear of Denis’s death. He was my doctor for more than 40 years from singleton to parent. His formidable intelligence and humour bought me a lot of additional time in the last few years. I’m sorry I didn’t thank him properly when there was the opportunity. His was a valuable life.

Nothing was too much trouble for him and you always left feeling better. I also had the pleasure of handing over the money to him in Portmarnock which he took with his special smile. I’m so sorry to hear this very sad news. Denis was my GP for many years. He was a complete gentleman, always so kind, and with such a great and gentle manner, especially with children.
