Fiona our sincerest sympathy on the passing of your Dad. May he rest in peace

Dermot was very proud of his position as the longest serving member of the George and I was proud to be counted among his friends. My father, Frank, as a medical colleague also treasured his friendship. Mary and Dermot were frequent visitors to Flower Grove especially in the heyday of the 70s with the Glenners. Dermot's constant cheerful disposition made him a draw in social circles, while his acuity as a nonagenarian was something to behold.

Mary, deepest sympathy on Dermot's death. He was a true gentleman and kindness personified, especially to us young turks coming back from abroad. Anne and I were delighted to have met up with you both at the last St. Vincent's Hospital dinner and reliving past times.

I am extremely saddened to the passing of Dermot Cantwell, He was an excellent Father, an excellent grand Father, an excellent husband, and excellent to his medical profession, loved his family and grand children -He was always in the winner’s enclosure. A lovely family it was great being neighbours playing tennis with a lovely family-My deepest sympathy goes out to Mary Cantwell, Declan, Michael, David and lovely Fiona.
