We are so sorry to learn of Dick's death. He was a soft-spoken, kind, and considerate person to everyone he met. We soldiered together in College and in our early years as young doctors.

Dick always paid close attention to his under- and postgraduate medical studies; and, for relaxation, when not on the football pitch or golf course, he would would occasionally consult his other passion - his horse racing form book, usually with benefit.
