A wonderful Dr. And a truly nice gentleman.

I worked as a student nurse and then as a Staff nurse in the Coombe Hospital .
Subsequently, Dr O Brien delivered my 5 children.
He was a gentleman on every occasion ,and was loved and respected so much.
May he Rest in Peace.

My condolences to Olive and the family on this sad loss. I have warm memories of the Aldritt family from many years ago.

Sorry to hear of Donals passing. He was a wonderful Doctor. was there for me to bring my three children into the world safely and they all arrived during the night. So friendly and with such empathy. Condolences to all his family , Joyce and Mary.

I am so saddened to hear of Donnie passing. Olive and Donnie had great times with my mum and dad and my uncle Vincent O Shee from Detroit Michigan. He was a gentleman of a consultant who always made you feel relaxed and would appear when the time was right. Thank you for being there rest in peace.

It is with great sadness I see this news. Donal knew my Mum Barbara Morris & my late Aunt Gertrude Morris in his student days in UK When Mum married an Irish man & came to live in Ireland, Donal was her only choice as her Dr. He delivered me & my 4 siblings, subseqently delivering my three children. A true family history RIP DONAL

So sorry to hear this. Donal was a fantastic neighbour and he is remembered with such fond memories of earlier years- I don't know how both he and Olive put up with us as such noisy neighbours!

Remembering Dr O Brien with great respect.He was an oasis of calm and kindness when he looked after me during six pregnancies in the nineteen eighties.May his gentle soul rest in peace.
