Condolences from the Kinsella Family in Bray.
On behalf of NUI Galway staff and students, sympathies to Eva and family on Eoin's passing.
Eva and family,
Such sad news that Eoin has passed, condolences on behalf of Eoin's former colleagues within the College of Arts.
Another Galway great lost to us.
RIP Eoin.
Just learned of Prof Bourke's sudden death, so sorry to hear this. Condolences to his wife and children.
From a grateful graduate of NUI Galway, Professor Bourke was a fascinating man and so dedicated to his students. He was fascinating to listen to and his lectures were always so engaging.
Sympathies to his family.
Biblical rains marking Eoin's funeral, he would have enjoyed the irony. Deepest sympathy to his wonderful family, the loss of a true scholar.
I am so sorry to learn of Eoin's death. My deep sympathies are with Eva, and his whole family.
Always admired you both as a couple out and about in Galway Eva. May he rest in peace.
Very sorry to read this sad news. I've great memories of plays, readings and shows in the old Riverside Terrapin on Distillery Rd with Prof Bourke in UCG.
Deepest sympathy to Eva and Family, Eoin was a mensch to all of us and will be missed greatly.
To Eva and Family, I am so sorry to hear the news of Eoin’s passing. I have very fond memories of playing scrabble with you all many moons ago. Thinking of you all at this time love Olwen (Ollie) Coughlan
To Eva and family
Shocked to learn that Eoin has passed away. Such a kind man with a wonderful mind. He carried his erudition lightly and will be missed.
Sincere condolances.
My sincere sympathy to you Eva and to your children. I fondly remember my time spent learning German from you both. It has sparked a life long interest in languages and a skill I use today working for a Boston language publisher. Recalling the fun of
Stammtisch nights and the German immersion weekend in The Burren. May he Rest in Peace
My sincere condolences on hearing this sad news.
Very sad to hear those news, every thought to your family at this time.
Extremely saddened to hear that Eoin has died. Was a neighbour on Henry Street for five years and will never forget the friendly welcome of Eoin and Eva as well as Eoin’s warmth and encouragement as a senior colleague in NUI Galway. Heartfelt sympathy to Eva and family on the loss of a wonderful husband and father. He will be missed but remembered fondly by so many. May he Rest In Peace.
Sincere sympathy to you all. My heart is with you.
