Very sorry to hear of the passing of Ernie. A childhood pal from over 50 years ago, a clever and lively boy, lovely to hear what a difference he made and how he touched people's lives. Sincere sympathies to all his family. May he rest in peace

I am very sorry to hear that Ernie has died. Sincere sympathy to you Mrs. Henry, Ann, Mike and Brian and to his wife and children. I have very fond memories of the early years growing up in Mayorstone with Ernie and in later years in Cork. He was such a funny guy and he always had a story to tell. May he now Rest in Eternal Peace.

We had lost touch but when I knew him Ernie was a gifted student, a skilled soccer and gaelic player, and an all round really decent guy. He will be sorely missed.
