I was a patient of his from a child through to having my own children until he retired.He was a wonderful doctor and well ahead of his time always had time to give his wise words.I always rememered he displayed his family photos with pride of place.
He will be sadly missed far and wide and always thought of fondly

Joan &Family - I was so sorry to hear just today of the sad news of Eugene’s death . Oh - what a lovely man he was - so empathic with a wonderful sense of humour . He had a marvelous talent to entertain & he shared it with all of us . I know you will miss him dreadfully - my sincere sympathies to you all .

So sorry for your sad loss. I was a patient of his all my life up until he retired. A lovely man, so easy to talk too. A great doctor, seen me through both my pregnancies, in the early 80ies. I was delighted when he returned to work after his new heart transplant and really miss him since he retired.

My condolences to the family of Dr Kearney. He was my doctor since I was born. I was born with scoliosis in 1980 and he took such amazing care of me up until he left practice. Winter times I was never out of the practice because of chest infections and he always made sure I was ok. I had pioneering surgery late in life and was actually the first in the world to get specific rods. I saw him once after this and he gave me the biggest hug. My health got so fantastic after this surgery. My late mother adored him also. He was such a great person and doctor with the jazziest socks! I’ve often thought of him over the years.

Dear Stephen,

It was with very sad news that I heard from my mother of your Dad’s passing.

I remember him playing the piano in your living room and singing, it was really impressive.

His dedication to Heart and Lung, Piano, and Golf was something that you always would discuss with me when we were playmates biking around Baltray, Termonfeckin, Clogherhead, Sonairte. and Drogheda.
