Finn, Deirdre, Brian and the extended McCarthy Family. We had the privilege of having Eva as a great neighbour since we moved to Raheen nearly 30 years ago. Dr. Eva was always welcoming, kind, thoughtful, witty, practical and great craic. She was much more than a neighbour, as she became a very signficant person in our family. One more of the Raheen stock sadly passes on. She is gone but she will not be forgotten. Ní bheidh a leithéid ann arís. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam dílis.

Sincere sympathy to the McCarthy family on the passing of Dr Eva, very fond memories of her visits to our Aunt Julia Maher on the Square and bringing Julia to your home in Cork for holiday's, a very kind and generous lady, may she rest in peace.

It was with deep sadness that to-day, the 12th of September 2022, I learned of the passing of Dr. Eva McCarthy Moore whom I have known so well for some sixty five or more years. She was a most gracious lady and an exceptionally caring Doctor from a distinguished medical family and who together with her late husband, Dr. Derry McCarthy were esteemed friends of my late parents and their extended families for so many years. My sincere condolences to Finn, Deirdre, Brian and their many relatives on their sad loss. May she rest in peace.
