Sincere sympathy to all the Brennan family on Francis' passing. RIP.
Sincere Sympathy to Frank's Family at this sad time. He was a brilliant lecturer and authority in his field.
I was very shocked to here of Frank's death - I never missed his tax seminars and he was both brilliant and witty. I loved his stories around tax. He will be sorely missed. My deep condolences to all his family.
During the early years of the Annual Tax Conferences, Frank was my favourite speaker. He would have us all in stitches and just when you started wondering "what has this to do with tax" all would be revealed! He had the gift of using very funny analogies to explain a difficult tax concept! What a man. You will be missed dear Frank. My sincerest sympathies to Frank's family.

I was shocked to hear the very sad news about Frank. Very few people can be described as larger than life in the tax world but that, to me, was Frank. So to Frank's family and close friends my sincere condolences. This is a very sad time for you all.
To Frank, you were the leading light to follow in our tax world for as long as I can remember - I always enjoyed sharing stories and craic with you. Your clever ideas, stories, great humour and that infectious laugh will stay with me forever! As the 20'somethings would say today - you are a tax legend!

Rest in Peace Frank
As Frank's co-author of the corporation tax book published over many years may I offer my condolences to Frank's family, his extended family and wide circle of friends. I am deeply shocked at his passing. We were the first tax lecturers to travel outside Dublin to all four corners of Ireland in the late 1970s to lecture on tax. My favourite memory was travelling to Dundalk in the blinding sunshine only to find that Franks slides had melted on the back window! Frank's erudition was boundless but he wore it lightly, his sense of fun was legendary and who will ever forget that infectious laugh.
Godspeed Frank.
Godspeed Frank.
