Dear Fergus, Joan, and Phillip,
So very sad to hear of the loss of your beautiful son, and beloved partner, Gordon. There are no words to heal, but I hope you can find some comfort in the messages in this condolence book. Having read the many heartfelt recollections of him, I can tell that he was a kind, caring, and compassionate person and can only imagine how special he was to you all and how much he will be missed.
Our hearts go out to you at this very difficult time.

My sincerest condolences to Philip and the rest of Gordon’s family. I’m still shocked and saddened by Gordon’s sudden death and at the same time so grateful to have had the honour of being one of his patients. He was the most knowledgeable, kind and compassionate Doctor I’d ever met. He made a such a positive impact on my life and will be very missed by myself and so many others.

Gordon was a dear friend to me from the time we met as Registrars many years ago. I always loved catching up with Gordon. Whether we were out for drinks or having a deep and meaningful conversation over dinner. We could have very honest and open discussions, he was so knowledgeable and interesting and I enjoyed every moment we spent together. I’m deeply saddened by this news and cannot believe he is gone.

Although our meetings were via video link, and we didn't get to meet in person, Gordon's warmth and kindness made such an enormous positive difference in my life, and I will be forever grateful to him - what a wonderful man. Gordon was great friend to all in our class during his years in RCSI. Kind, approachable and caring. He will be missed by everyone who had the good fortune to meet him. May he Rest in Peace.
