I was very saddened to hear of the passing of Dr Corrigan . He was a lovely man and a pleasure to work with . May his soul rest in peace . Condolences to his family and friends .

When we heard a consultant and his wife and family were moving next door we never guessed we would have such lovely neighbours. John was truly a lovely down to earth man, a rare thing these days, a gentleman. We will miss him greatly, especially the little chats across the hedge or a coffee or diet coke and a cake! We will continue to pray for Fiona, Emma, Jack, Niamh and Ronan.

I was a patient under his care twelve months ago after suffering a severe stroke and he was nothing but kind, gentle and attentive to me. So sorry to hear of the death of Dr John Corrigan, my sincere sympathy goes to the Corrigan family. I first got to know John growing up close to his family home in Cookstown. I remember many a marathon game of football and hurley. I still don't think I have fully recovered from his shoulder charges. Then as the years progressed it would be a few pints in the Black Horse.
