We wish to offer our sincere condolences on the death of Dr John. He was always most generous particularly when Robert was in Hollypark School and he was out and knocking on neighbours doors collecting for charity. Robert described Dr. John as a 'legend', which he will always be to you, he will be missed by all of us living on this road.

I was so saddened to hear of the death of Dr Fleetwood, a wonderful GP to several generations of our family down through the years. Always so professional and good humored, a visit to see him at Carysfort Clinic was always reassuring and comforting. My sincere sympathy to his family, friends and colleagues. So so sad to hear of Johnny's passing away. He attended my wedding in 1976. The last time I saw him was apx. 37 years ago in Greystones while I was on holiday. We were school friends at St Conleths School in Ballsbridge and used to lunch together every day with Colm (Gaynor). I remember helping his dad to make a home movie in the garage. Happy memories !

Sorry to hear the sad news. While I hadn't seen Johnny since we left Rockwell College in 1968, I have very fond memories of our time together there, when he talked of being a Pilot!.

Dr Fleetwood has been our GP for the last 30 years supporting us from the birth of our 3 children through our minor illnesses and problems. Very saddened to read about John’s passing. Had a lovely sense of rebellion in him, if you were fortunate enough to witness those early mornings when the yellow Corvette would swing out of the road and take off to his escape. His great warmth and interest in the well-being of people will be missed by so many whose lives he touched, as evidenced from the messages here. Sympathies to you, his family.
