Unfortunately I was away when I heard the sad news, but my thoughts and prayers were with you during this difficult time, and candles were placed at the Cathedral of St James for the peaceful repose of Joe's gentle soul, and in thanksgiving for the joy Joe brought to others during his short but full lifetime. I’m so sorry to hear of Joe’s unexpected passing. My condolences to Joe’s wife and son and to Gerry and Vinnie. I spent many’s the evening in Joe’s flat on the Mardyke in the old days instead of studying in the Library. Rest in Peace Bones
