Dear Bernadette and all the family - how sad were we to get the news about John a few days ago from Sarah. Can not be with you today to say goodbye to him as we are on our way to Tanzania for Jacques' medical outreach project. However we are with you in spirit. I am so grateful for the wonderful care John always gave to my family especially Tom & Peggy and indeed for the many good times we have all shared together in the past.

Bernadette, our deepest sympathies go out to you and your family. May God give you the comfort and peace that you seek. Dr. John was such wonderful company at Dinner each night on our Cruise, we have such fond memories of the fun and laughter at the table. It was an honour to have known such a great person who will be sadly missed by many.

So sorry to hear of Dr Keanes passing. He was our family doctor for years(mccormack sherlock park) My late mother Jane had great banter with him when he would want to send her to hospital. Icannot write what her response to him would be!!! My condolences to Bernadette and to all family members and grandchildren. John was such a wonderful person who was devoted to his family and his patients. I shall always remember John for his enjoyment of telling a good joke. I enjoyed getting to know John, although only for 17 days, on the transatlantic cruise on the MSC Divina. John was obviously a special person to so many people and I shall remember him fondly. I am sorry for your loss.

I was absolutely shocked and so saddened as I heard the news of John's death!!!I felt so so sad..I think of all of you and I offer you all my sympathy and my affection..I am going away for 10 days and might not be able to make the funeral.All my affection..
