He was a colleague of my recently deceased dad, Paddy Breen. I remember him visiting our family home on several occasions.

Both men shared an unwavering ambition & commitment to the development of third level education in Kerry.

Sean was a forward-thinking educationalist, who helped lay the ground work for the creation of the Munster Technological University ( Kerry).

He was very appreciative of CIT providing our Social Care programme, and assisting in the development of IT Tralee's own very successful one, an example of neighbourly cooperation and engagement, some decades before MTU!
I particularly recall his excitement and enthusiasm about the plans for the development of ITT's north campus.

I often met him with Aldona and we had very interesting conversations and exchange of views.
Séan suffered alot of ill health in recent years but he bore his cross courageously.
Throughout his illness, he remained faithful and committed to Blessed John Sullivan and revered his relic.
