I was in your Father's class in UCD and qualified with him in 1964, He was a good classmate. Sr, Eithne Walsh told me that he was a consultant Obstetrician in Limerick. I was very proud of his accomplishments. I loved reading the other condolences. It sounds like he was a truly great doctor and loving friend to many. I too am a Medical Missionary of Mary now retired and living in Boston. May John rest in peace. loving prayers.

Deepest sympathy to Sue James Tom Matilda Eliza and John’s sister Mary. John was a very kind and sincere friend to Paddy and I and Paddy had great time for John. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances I could not attend John’s farwell Mass which I regretted hugely. James gave a wonderful talk on his Dad’s love of Sue children grandchildren medicine art style and his wit- he will be very much missed. With sorrow.

To Doctor Walsh's family,please accept our deepest condolences.Our family would like to express our unending gratitude and thanks for your beloved Dad.He saved our baby sister over 45 years ago when our beloved Mam was pregnant on her 8th and last baby.But the story doesn't end there,because of his diligence and care to womens health,he is the reason why our Mam lived for another 40 years. He discovered cancer early and saved our wonderful Mams life(this was the early 80's when it wasn't even spoke of..Mam didn't tell us this until we were adults and always spoke of your beloved Dad with reverence and deep gratitude.He was sent by God to save our Mam and we are eternally grateful..My Mam is waiting in heaven to greet and thank him ❤️ I know that he was a wonderful family man but he was a great and modest obstetrician.
