Deepest sympathies to Dell and family on John's passing. John and Dell made me feel so welcome in their Vancouver home in my early days in the city. It was so nice to find a slice of home down in Kitsilano. One meeting was enough to get a sense of the kind and thoughtful person John was, as is made clear from the comments of those who knew him better. He even took the time to drive me home an hour across the city. A gentleman, may he rest in peace.

Sad to hear of John’s passing. We used to meet John at the annual gatherings of Irish Graduates out here in Vancouver from the mid 1990’s. John was the only other member who had gone to the Bish where I went so we had lots to talk about and Connacht RFC. He will be missed by all.
