I was very sorry to hear of Kathleen’s passing. We had many a great chat while walking around the park with all her various dogs. Condolences to all the family. RIP.
I am so sorry to learn of recent death of Kathleen. We walked our dogs together in the park on Sunday mornings over many years. Kathleen was an interesting, feisty and kind companion with a great interest in animals and travel. Deepest sympathy to her family and friends. May her gentle soul rest in peace. Joan O'Carroll
We will miss Kathleen and will always remember how much she loved her many dogs: Duffy, Lynn, Chips, Bobbo, Gypsy, Queenie among them. She was very kind to animals, rescuing and paying vet bills of strays, supporting animal charities.
I had the pleasure of meeting Kathleen in the High Loft Art Group, where she was a member for many years. I remember her lovely paintings of the pets she loved and her great travel stories. Kathleen was a breath of fresh air, a free thinker and a free spirit and I enjoyed her company greatly. Personally I found her inspirational. My sincere condolences to all who loved her.
To all the O'Higgins family,

My sincere condolences on the death of Kathleen. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis,

Josepha
Kathleen was a very supportive and kind colleague at the ESRI, may she rest in peace. Sincere sympathies to Kathleen’s family and friends at this difficult time.
Deepest sympathy on the passing of AK. Remembering great times spent in great company. Rest in peace Kathleen.
Alovely friend and colleague in the ESRI. Her smile brightened the day.
On behalf of the staff of the ESRI, I want to send our sympathies to Kathleen's family and friends. There is a small number of us who have been with the ESRI since the 1990s and so who worked with Kathleen. We remember her as a great colleague and a pioneering social scientist. She worked on many topics but her study of marriage breakdown, published in 1974, demonstrates her willingness to investigate topics which were challenging for Irish society. Her later work on children in care was also insightful and challenging. Personally, I very much enjoyed her company and her humour and was sad to learn of her passing.
Sorry to hear of Kathleen's death
May she R.I.P.
Sincere sympathy to Pat and all the O'Neill family.

Ar dheis De go raibh a anam. Farewell.Kathleen. We will miss our chats and your great sense of humour.
