Sincere sympathy to all of Mary's family. I trained in public health with Mary back in the 90s. She was a great public health doctor - full of energy, enthusiasm and willingness to tackle even difficult jobs. She will also great fun.

Prior to her retirement, Mary lead on the management and care of people with tuberculosis in the East. She also contributed for many years to the Education and Examinations Committees of the Faculty of Public Health Medicine, and brought her down to earth approach and good humour to all of these roles. May Mary rest in peace in the company of her beloved daughter Tara.
