Dr. Michael Francis McGrath

My deepest sympathys to the family of Dr. Michael Mcgrath, he will be dearly missed.

To Dr. Michael's wife and daughter, to the McGrath and O'Neill families and to the staff of Carraig Medical Centre, our most sincere condolences on your sad loss. We remember fondly, the voice of Dr. Michael over the years, phoning our offices directly to follow up on his patients. He was always so thankful for any assistance we could provide, such a wonderful GP and now so terribly missed by all. Keeping you all in our thoughts. May Dr. Michael enjoy his eternal rest.

My heartfelt condolences are extended to Margaret, Rosanna, the McGrath and O'Neill families, the wonderful staff of Carraig Medical Centre and the many medical colleagues of Dr. Michael at such a sad time. His passing has touched so many people, simply because of how sincere and kindhearted a doctor and person he was to so many. His legacy will live on. He was so respected. Thinking of you all in the days ahead.

For ever missed Michael, you truly were one in million.

I have been constantly thinking of Michael since I heard the news and the feeling is still raw several weeks later.

My thoughts are also with Margaret, Rosanna, the McGrath and O’Neill families; Mary; Joanie, David and staff at Carraig Medical Centre during this extremely challenging time.

Michael has been such a tremendous colleague, mentor and person to not just myself but countless other doctors who he has trained and helped post graduation and his funeral, eulogy and guard of honour was a beautiful testament to him. Michael’s commitment to his patients, teaching and general practice was exemplary and he will be sorely missed by everyone he encountered.

I was very fortunate to have met Michael and learn from him and a part of Michael will always remain while I practice.

I would liketo extend my sincerest sympathy to you and all the McGrath family and especially to Margaret and Rosanna on the recent passing of your beloved Michael. When I heard the sad news, I was reminded of a conversation I had with Aunty Maree at Austins funeral, when she said that the death of a child, at any age before their parents, was outside the natural order of life.

I am sorry I could not attend the funeral, or the reposal, but I was able to join with you on the video link for the lovely service.
