My deepest sympathies to the Crowley family and Claire on the passing of Michael. Michael supervised my Masters in Statistics and set me on my way to a career in statistics. Michael always had great patience and time for me as a student and later as a colleague. He always had time to chat and had a great memory, always asking about my family and friends. He will be missed and may he rest in peace
