Mairéad and Joseph

I was deeply shocked when I heard of Mohamad's passing. I first met him in the then ITTralee and we spent happy times there. He was a larger than life character with a great sense of humor and a warm friendly smile. He always had time for a chat, at all times had the students best interests at heart and worked tirelessly for them. He was great friend, colleague and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

I first met Mohamad in DCU in late 80s ... In fact he once threw one of the more memorable post-grad parties back then! :-)
Always a smile, always a big hello and always a point of view ...
I am very sorry for your loss. My condolences to Mairead, Joseph and Mohamad's extended family.
RIP.
I first met Mohamad in 2006 when as part of the Foundation Certificate I chose to take engineering as a module. A small group of us spent every Thursday morning in a 3 hour lecture with Mohamad. I still smile when I think of those hours spent in the classroom, not because of the topic but the teacher.
More recently working in Connolly hospital afforded me the privilege of spending a little time with Mohamad over the last few difficult months.
His gentleness, kindness, warmth and beautiful smile will stay with me always. May you Rest In Peace Mohamad and thank you so much for the lovely memories.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mohamad was a gas man, full of fun, laughs and stories. I remember the time he sang Ó ró sé do bheatha abhaile in front of the whole school as punishment for being late to our meeting. I had a lot of time and respect for him and he will be sadly missed on our Blanchardstown campus. The world certainly was a better place with Mohamad in it. Very sad times, rest in peace friend.

Sincere condolences to Mairead and Joseph and to the extended Saleh family on the death of Mohamed. I worked with Mohamad for over 15 years in ITB until my retirement. During break times Mohamed would never select a quiet table/corner in which to relax. He always joined a busier communal table where he enjoyed the many conversations that covered a multitude of subjects, and you always went away having learned something from him. He had great enthusiasm for a broad range of topics; engineering, research, teaching and learning, support for students, politics of the day and pride in his family.
May he Rest in Peace.

Mairead and Joseph, so very sorry to hear of Mohamad's passing. Mohamad was a true gentleman. I have very fond memories of him teaching me some computer-based methods to improve our cancer research back in 1993. He was a wizard at it - and I was not!, but somehow it always involved a lot of laughing. Mohamad’s love for you was obvious to all, Mairead; as was his great delight and pride on Joseph’s arrival. I hope that, with time, all of your happy memories will be of comfort to you both. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Lorraine x
