My deepest sympathy to all the O‘Kelly family on Paddy‘s death. I worked with Paddy in the early 80s in Ennis and Limerick. He was a great colleague and mentor and such a kind and caring doctor. He brightened all our days.

After Paddy had a difficult few months he ended up with us on St Martins unit in Beaumont Hospital. We only heard of his passing today and wanted to express our deepest sympathy to his family.
We got to know him and became very fond of him. He was a gas man. As he was a Dr himself, we had many unsolicited nuggets of advice given to us and he would quiz the poor medical students and interns relentlessly and finish the conversation with them by telling them to quit and go do something else😂
He also on occasion, took it upon himself to assess a patient or 2 and gave us his diagnosis. Thanks Paddy!
After all his hard work in Physio we’re glad that he got to recover enough to meet his grand-daughter and get home to Mullingar, albeit for a short time.
