Can’t believe it. Pat was lovely. We’ve known him since he was Dr Brufen in Drogheda and since as a trainer on the NE scheme. He was always smiling and willing to share a funny story. And beneath that witty surface there was a man who always wanted to do the best for his patients and family. Sincere condolences to Fionnuala and the family.

We would like to express our deepest condolences to the Brophy family and all the staff at Brophy medical practice. Dr Patrick Brophy was my supervisor while i was in GP placement as a student in UCD 18 years ago. He was so very knowledgeable and willingly shared his vast experience with trainees. He would later become my family GP when I settled with my husband and 2 sons in the Navan Road area. He and his wife Dr Fionnuala have always provided exceptional care to our family and for this we are so very grateful. Offering our prayers for you all at this incredibly sad time.

So very sorry Fionnuala and family to hear about Pat. Pat was the epitome of what a gentleman is. So much time for us all too. A friendly exchange and advice. As I only just heard, I then looked at the condolences, it is no surprise that they amount to pages. A massive loss to you as a family and the community of Cabra who have lost a wonderful GP and friend.
