Dr Ralph Hoey

Alison, Barbara, Katherine and Jennifer.
I have just heard the sad news about your father Ralph. I meet him in 1970 on a social project in Ranelagh Dublin; as a medical student he was involved with the UCD society MSVS.
He was a great person to know - professional, humorous with a great sense of fun and a very quick brain.
May he rest in peace.

Both Ralph and his dear wife Mary were highly respected as caring and conscientious doctors, serving many patients and families over decades.

So sorry to hear of Dr. Hoey’s passing. He was always a gentleman to deal with, and we remember seeing him ride by the depot on his horses in his heyday , a true character and a local legend.
