I remember Susan well, particularly from 1993 when I went to Irish college with Emma as day students in Ring. The Brittons, Ryans, and Bowes created a lot of fun and laughter in Clonea. I remember Susan’s witty banter and engaging presence.
Later on I met Susan frequently at UCC. She always had a smile and glowed with her positive and optimistic attitude.

Sincerest condolences to all of Susan’s family. She was a wonderful colleague and compassionate doctor.
Susan was incredibly generous with her time and energy. As a registrar in Dublin, I mentioned a desire to work in Canada. She set me up with a recruiter and a contacted a friend of hers in B.C. within 10mins. All in the midst of a busy clinic. May she rest in peace.
